Leave Olmsted Alone! ( A Letter to Mayor Brown)

Dear Mayor Brown:

This is a letter to ask you to please leave the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy in charge of the Olmsted Parks system within Buffalo. Since returning to Buffalo more then 7 years ago, which the original intent to leave again I have fallen in love with Buffalo & Western New York and actively promote local events and such with friends of mine that live out of state or even locally but never venture into the city for events or shopping that they never knew existed.

In this time I have also become heavily involved in volunteering with local organizations to assist in cleaning up WNY or maintain the parks and I have to state, the Conservancy does one amazing job in doing so. Now I must ask why you feel your administration will do a better job or even at par with the level the Conservancy. Since coming into office I have been unimpressed with your record, especially when it comes to the maintaining of the City for basic seasonal maintenance.

I must ask Mayor Brown, please leave the parks to the experts, to the group that Buffalo has come to trust, know and love.
